Q. What is the IMPDA for whats its purpose?

A. The IMPDA (Independent Mobile Phone Dealers Association) is mainly for Dealers, however we welcome both Networks and Distributors to make a contribution to the site.

The aim is to support dealers and provide a platform for discussion between Dealers, Networks and Distributors, with a view to improving the co-operation between all three and to encourage the Networks to work with and not against dealers.  The IMPDA as well is available to the public to give their views, report dealers who are members to which they have problems, and to ensure that customers have a quality service from quality dealers.

The IMPDA gives the networks the opportunity to provide dealers with a level playing field, where dealers can make offers to the public the same as the networks, and to improve where possible the treatment of dealers.  The IMPDA has contacts with Ofcom, Trading Standards and Members of Parliament, as well as Trade magazines and national press such as "The Mirror"  "The Guardian" and Central Television and Channel 4.
