 Independent Mobile Phone Dealers Association

We would like to welcome you to the launch of the IMPDA website the home of the Independent Mobile Phone Dealers Association.  The aim of the association is to bring together Mobile Phone dealers from all over the UK and to be the largest central point for Dealers to come to.  By dealers using the site, it will also give the Networks and Distributors a central point to talk, discuss, and help dealers directly.

Dealers, Networks, and Distributors can air their views through the inbuilt forum and through the website dealers can discuss with Networks, and Distrubutors problems which affect them, and to use the site as a central point to which both the Networks and Distruibutors can meet, with the goal of working together for the same aim, that is to have a level playing field when obtaining sales for the networks.

We would ask that all Networks and Distributors join in to assist in this goal, after all its in their own interest to help dealers.  We welcome any content that is offered, and our sole aim is to work together.

In the interests of confidentiality, the forum side and other parts of the main site is accessed by registration, Only registered members will be allowed to view the forum topics, post messages etc, visitors to the site will not be permitted to view any content.

All applications are checked prior to approval.  If anyone is not an actual Mobile phone dealer, mobile distibutor, then please email admin in the first instance.  To protect Dealers only the above 3 goups will be accepted at this time.

Message from the Chairman IMPDA

6thumb_002.jpg

On behalf of the IMPDA and its team I would like to wish all UK dealers/distributors/networks a very Happy New Year 2009.

We wish all dealers good luck for 2009 and that their business continues to survive in 2009 after what has been a very difficult last quarter of 2008.  Dealers this year need all the help they can get, and we hope that Mobile Network Operators will help to keep the independent dealer alive and well in 2009 and maybe offer special deals which will help to bring more business to the independent sector.

The future for dealers this year may be more difficult due to the economic climate, however dealers are tough and many will survive this difficult time.  Despite the gloom, consumers are using their mobiles more and more, and although their may be a slight downturn, it;' not as bad as some sectors. That does not mean that dealers can be complacent. If anything diversification is the word this year, with more dealers taking on additional products to sell, and not just mobiles.  Suppliers can also help dealers achieve additional sales, If suppliers would like to help UK dealers then please contact us to discuss.

Happy New Year to you all

Chris Caudle

Chairman IMPDA
